Boca Raton Museum of Art Offers Diverse Collections, Classes, and More

Brian Greenspoon, an experienced attorney, has practiced throughout Florida for more than 10 years. Recognized as a legal leader in 2013 and 2014, Brian Greenspoon is a member of professional and community organizations, including the American Bar Association and the Boca Raton Museum of Art.

The Boca Raton Museum of Art opened its doors more than 50 years ago, attracting more than 200,000 visitors each year. Notably, the museum’s diverse collections range from pre-Columbian works and West-African tribal art to contemporary American art and two outdoor sculpture gardens, among others. The art museum also sponsors an art school and lecture program.

In addition to specific classes for teens, youth, and people with special needs, the museum offers classes in a variety of mediums and for different skill levels. Most courses last eight weeks and include topics like clay figure sculpture, printmaking, and jewelry fabrication. Courses like these are supported by museum membership, from individual to visionary levels and seven tiers in between. Every level grants members free museum admission and a discount on art school classes, and the higher levels include private guided tours and behind-the-scenes events.

The Jewish National Fund Hosts Annual Conference

As an attorney, Brian Greenspoon represents clients in personal injury matters. However, Brian Greenspoon still finds time for causes that are important to him, such as the Jewish National Fund.

One such event is the JNF National Conference, which will next be held in New York City from September 16 through September 19, 2016. Last year’s conference covered diverse topics, such as confronting water crises, creating an inclusive society, using social media, and keeping children safe. Individuals in attendance were also given the opportunity to hear speeches from prominent keynote speakers, including former Israeli prime minster Tzipi Livini and author and World Values Network founder Rabbi Shmuley Boteach To learn more about the JNF, and to register for the 2016 conference, visit www.jnf.org.

A Few Tips for Injured Workers

Attorney Brian Greenspoon can offer insight into the complicated laws and processes surrounding Workers’ Compensation. Below are some important steps to take for those injured at work.

Check the local laws. Each state operates its Workers’ Compensation program. The laws, most forms, and procedures to follow should be easily accessible via the state’s website. Awareness of the law can prevent employees from losing out on any of the benefits to which they are entitled.

Inform the employer of an injury immediately. Many states limit the amount of time workers have to report an injury. Rather than waiting to see if an injury is serious before addressing it, employees should act quickly to ensure they do not exceed any possible time limits.

Contact a lawyer. A competent legal professional can guide clients through the process. Attorneys like Brian Greenspoon have recovered significant compensation for those injured at work. They can help clarify the process and advocate the interests of the client.
